Billing at the window. See Public Notices for the Cypress Row advisory. On all other streets the water is fine, and the taste is normal for the area.
Roads & Public Works (Alderman Thibodeaux)
Shell roads are graded quarterly. Paving of Ancelet Road remains under study (since 1994). Streetlights: report any light dark, flickering, or burning during daylight — see Sec. 3-1. Iron nails are supplied at the window at no charge.
Cemetery & Grounds (Alderman Rowan, Sexton)
The cemetery is closed dusk to dawn. Above-ground interment only. Plot inquiries at the window; there is generally room.
Volunteer Fire Department
The siren is tested the first Friday of each month at noon. If the siren sounds at any other time, tune to AM 1610 and follow the instructions given.
Animal Control
Dogs and cats: contact the parish shelter. For any other animal, call the non-emergency line, (337) 555-0116, and describe the animal. Do not feed it while you wait.
